1. Acceptance

By accessing or using EU Receipt Converter, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

EU Receipt Converter is a file conversion tool that processes uploaded files entirely in memory on EU-based servers. We do not write your files to disk or store them in any database. All uploaded files are automatically deleted from memory immediately after processing, regardless of the outcome.

3. User Accounts

Account creation and authentication are handled by Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. File Uploads

You retain full ownership of any files you upload and any output you receive. By uploading a file, you confirm you have the right to do so. We do not share, sell, or transmit your files to any third party, except as described in the AI Processing section below (if applicable) or as required by law.

Files are processed in-memory and automatically purged immediately. No permanent copy is kept on our infrastructure.

5. AI Processing

This service uses Mistral AI's API to perform file conversion. Your file contents are transmitted to Mistral's EU API endpoint solely to carry out the conversion you requested. Mistral does not use API inputs for model training. Files are not retained by Mistral beyond the duration of the API call.

Your files are never used to train any AI model, whether operated by us or a third party.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time via your account's billing portal, which takes effect at the end of the current period. We do not process or store your payment card details directly — this is handled entirely by Stripe under their own security standards.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload files containing illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the service
  • Circumvent usage limits through automated or deceptive means
  • Use the service in a way that violates applicable law

We reserve the right to suspend access for violations without prior notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, conversion errors, service interruptions, or indirect damages arising from your use of EU Receipt Converter. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
